Improving Hoosier Health Through Political Advocacy
The Good Trouble Coalition is a grassroots group of Hoosier healthcare and public health stakeholders who collaborate to educate, empower, and facilitate political advocacy in the areas of patient-centered care, public health, and health equity.
There are a multitude of stakeholders that have an interest in healthcare delivery. The Good Trouble Coalition feels strongly that healthcare policy decisions should always be made with a "patient first" mindset.
Public Health
Public Health is a messy combination of science, medicine, and societal values. As much as possible, the Good Trouble Coalition believes that science should drive Public Health policymaking over political factors.
Health Equity
Health equity is achieved when everyone has the same opportunities to achieve his or her full health potential. The Good Trouble Coalition is committed to improving the political determinants of health in Indiana.
